01About the application
This policy explains how data is handled in DMJ Channel Analytics and on its informational website, app.dmjconcepts.com. The application collects YouTube channel statistics, analyzes video performance and supports content planning.
The administrator’s contact for support and data requests is mukievibrahim2@gmail.com. Access to the working application is provided to the channel owner and authorized members of their team.
02Data we process
- Channel and video data: identifiers, titles, descriptions, publication dates, duration, thumbnail images and available metadata.
- Statistics: views, watch time, retention, impressions, CTR, engagement, subscriber changes, traffic sources and aggregate audience breakdowns, subject to Google permissions and report availability.
- Analysis materials: text, scripts, images and other materials supplied by the owner, along with analysis results.
- Connection data: OAuth tokens issued by Google for authorized access. The app does not request or store your Google account password.
- Technical data: task and error status; your email address and message content when you contact support.
Aggregate audience statistics do not give us a list identifying individual viewers. Processing public materials may include publicly available information about videos and channels.
03Google permissions
The application uses YouTube API Services, including YouTube Data API, YouTube Analytics API and available YouTube Reporting API reports.
youtube.readonly— read available channel and video data.yt-analytics.readonly— read channel analytics reports.
These permissions are used to retrieve statistics, maintain history and prepare reports. They do not authorize the app to upload, edit or delete your videos. Access is requested through Google’s consent screen, where you choose your account and approve permissions.
Google handles information under the Google Privacy Policy.
04How data is used
Data is used to display statistics, compare videos and time periods, study titles and thumbnails, prepare analytical findings and support planning for future videos. Analysis results are saved in the application’s workspace.
Channel data is accessible to the administrator and authorized team members who have access to that workspace. We do not sell Google data or use it for advertising targeting.
The use and transfer of information received through Google APIs must comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google data to train general-purpose AI models. Before enabling an external AI service, the administrator must select terms and settings consistent with these restrictions.
05Storage and external services
Collected reports, materials and analysis results are stored in a database and files on the application operator’s server. Backups may be created for recovery. Access to the server and workspace is restricted to authorized people.
Optional AI-assisted analysis. When the relevant features are enabled, selected text, thumbnails, user-supplied materials and analytical context may be sent to OpenAI through connected Codex or ChatGPT tools to perform the requested analysis or prepare materials. This processing takes place through an external service, rather than exclusively on our server. It is governed by the applicable terms and settings of the connected OpenAI account; see OpenAI’s privacy policy.
Google permission to read statistics does not, by itself, constitute consent to every transfer of data to third parties. Before enabling additional analysis, the owner must review this policy and agree to the transfer of selected materials. OAuth tokens are not analysis materials and must not be included in model tasks.
Infrastructure providers support the server, domain and email. Email inquiries are processed by the email services used. Data may also be disclosed where required by a binding legal obligation.
06Retention and deletion
Channel history is retained for as long as it is needed for the agreed analytical work. When they stop using the app, the owner may request deletion. Deletion is performed manually by the administrator within 7 calendar days after receipt of a verified request from the owner.
Email mukievibrahim2@gmail.com with the subject “Channel data deletion” and include the channel URL or ID. We may ask you to confirm your authority to manage the channel. Do not send passwords or OAuth tokens.
The request covers saved channel data, reports, materials, analysis results and associated access data. The administrator takes backups into account and must not restore deleted data from them. If completing the request requires deletion from connected external services, the administrator performs the available deletion actions and explains any applicable provider limitations.
You may also request information about your data or correction of inaccurate information. Current YouTube metrics are refreshed from available sources; the completeness of historical data depends on API availability and granted access.
07Revoking access
Open third-party connections in your Google account, select this application and remove its access. This stops further data collection using the revoked permission.
Revoking access and deleting previously saved history are separate actions. To delete data already collected, send a request to the administrator. We do not claim that the saved archive is automatically deleted as soon as access is revoked.
08Website and cookies
This website’s public pages do not use advertising trackers, embedded videos, third-party analytics or tracking cookies. Fonts and styling do not require third-party downloads. If technical errors occur, server logs may contain an IP address, time and requested path; this site’s logs are rotated daily and kept for no more than 7 days.
The application’s separate working interface may use necessary cookies for sessions and connection security. Visits to Google, OpenAI or an email service are governed by that service’s policies.
09Updates and contact
We update this policy when data processing changes. Significant changes, including a new AI provider or new purposes for data use, must be communicated to the channel owner before that use begins; new consent is requested where needed.
